***“If it was your family, you’d feel differently.”
I cannot believe you just had the balls to say that to me, man. To me, of all people! I’m the one who took your wife and son, got them out of that hellhole before it got completely overrun. I’m the one that kept them safe, cared for them like they were my own.
They ARE my family. How dare you make it seem otherwise?
“Why can’t you just back me up?”
Rick, why can’t you just back me up for once? I’ve always been your second, always followed your lead. Never once questioned your orders or your motives. Why can’t you just trust in me for once? I led this camp; I kept them all safe. We never had any trouble… Not until you came back. You brought this on us. You come back and all of a sudden we’re swarmed with walkers. Not two days after you show up, Rick. What does that tell you?
Look at you down there. You have no idea that I’ve got you in my sights. It would be so easy, Rick. One little pull on the trigger. You were dead once. You could be dead again. It would be an accident. A simple case of mistaken identity – I thought you were a walker. So easy.
“You know I can never repay that debt.”
I’ll follow your lead, Rick. This time.
